Heartwood’s Locked ‘N Loaded, aptly nicknamed, “Pistol”,
was born in 2017 at the Heartwood Kennel owned by
Myra Johnson and Dr. Alan Johnson who own Shepherd’s Creek Farm in Rutherfordton, NC.
Pistol is a combo of German Working/Show lines and American Show lines.
She’s sired by Anne Isle’s C. Gander v Heartwood.
“Gander” is sired by the Vice World Sieger Nino Von Tronje.
Nino Von Tronje was a highly titled, and respected 2012 Vice-World Champion imported German Working Dog now owned by Dr. Morton Goldfarb. Dr. Goldfarb purchased Nino and brought him to the United States to improve and add quality genetic diversity to American German Shepherds. Nino’s progeny will likely join other American bred German Shepherd as “Icons of the Breed” in America. In 2013 Nino was USCA VA-1 Sieger and High Protection Award 5-5 and GSDCA Inaugural Sieger Show VA-1 Sieger. In 2014, Nino was GSDCA Sieger 3X German Excellent Select (VA).
